As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
We pray that you are keeping safe and well, and would we to thank you for your continued support, patience and du’as during this challenging and difficult time.
By the grace of Allah, we are pleased to announce that after completing a thorough risk assessment, the Masjid is ready for Phase 1 of reopening for congregational prayers on:
Monday 13th July 2020 – only Fajr, Asr & Maghrib prayers will be led in congregation (jamm’ah)
Jummah/ Friday prayers remain temporarily SUSPENDED until further notice.
As we begin to gradually reopen our Masjid, we have had to make some difficult but necessary changes to protect us all by maintaining social distancing and minimising the possibility of transmitting the virus, which has also disproportionately affected BAME (Black, Asian & Ethnic Minority) members. The government virus alert level is currently level 3, which means that the threat is still ‘substantial’, the virus is considered to be ‘in general circulation’ and there is a real risk of localised lockdowns and the Masjid being reclosed.
With all of this in mind, please strictly adhere to the following necessary measures and instructions:
⛔ SHOULD NOT ATTEND:
❌ Over 65s.
❌ Under 10s.
❌ Anyone with pre-existing health conditions.
❌ Anyone in self-isolation.
❌ Anyone in quarantine.
❌ Anyone showing any COVID-19 related symptoms (high temperature; new continuous cough; loss of taste or smell).

✅ Pray in the designated prayer spaces.

🚫 Consistent failure to adhere to these rules may result in you being asked not to attend the Masjids for the safety of other attendees.
After salah times
✅ Follow the instructions for leaving the Masjid.
✅ Leave quietly and do not congregate outside
⛔ Please note the masjid will remain closed outside of congregational prayer times.
Please remember that these difficult decisions were made with the best interest of our community at heart, and were made after undergoing a thorough risk assessment, sharing best practice with other masajid and much deliberation. We have full faith that you will continue to support us by adhering to these temporary but necessary measures to ensure that our Masjid remains a safe and peaceful place of worship.
We pray that Allah keeps our masajid open, completely removes this difficult and challenging trial, grants us all ease, and allows us to return to normality very quickly. Ameen.
