Embark on an extraordinary journey following the Hijrah route once traversed by the greatest man to have ever lived, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This spiritually enriching and physically demanding challenge aims to replicate the Hijrah journey as closely as possible.
With the guidance of knowledgeable sheikhs and local experts, we will trek through the desert, camp under the stars, and reflect on the experiences of the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions. Combining the essence of history, spirituality, and fitness, this challenge seeks to inspire Muslims worldwide to embrace a healthier lifestyle while spreading the message of peace and unity.
Dates: 14th – 28th November 2026 (14 Nights)
Costs: £3,500 Per Person (All Inclusive)
The Hijrah Walk refers to the migration by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions, from Makkah to Madinah in the year 622 CE. This event marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar and symbolises the shift from hardship to the establishment of a new community.
Participants will follow historically authentic routes, seeing exact locations where verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed. This is more than a walk; it is a life-changing experience that will nurture resilience and a deeper connection to the Prophet ﷺ.

At the centre of Hounslow, the Masjid hums with purpose as the sun leans toward evening. Each Ramadan the doors open wide and the community gathers—students, workers, families, and neighbours who find comfort in a shared meal. Last year we served an average of 200 people daily, and this year we prepare for an even greater need.
In these moments the Masjid is more than a building; it is a living promise that no one in our neighbourhood will break their fast alone. Volunteers set long mats, steam rises from pots, and filling plates becomes an act of mercy.
The Prophet ﷺ taught: "Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person."
| Option | Cost | Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Full Iftar | £1,250 | One full day of meals for hundreds. |
| Half Iftar | £500 | Shares the burden and doubles the blessing. |
| Partial Donation | Any amount | Supplies: plates, cups, tea & water. |
Your contribution does more than buy food. It sustains a space where mercy, forgiveness, and community spirit are renewed every evening. Even £5 helps replace cups or water and keeps the service running smoothly so no one waits hungry.
Sponsor a day, share half a day, or give what you can—each act becomes part of a larger story of care in Hounslow.
Over the past six years, Hounslow Muslim Centre has grown from a modest prayer space into a vital lifeline for the community, serving thousands every week. Demand for worship, education, youth work, women’s programmes and essential community support continues to rise — yet HMC is physically boxed in on all sides.
Built for a much smaller congregation, the current facility is operating far beyond its intended capacity. Temporary fixes have been stretched to their limits. The only way forward is upward.
HMC is now embarking on a multi‑million‑pound redevelopment to create a purpose‑built, multi‑storey Masjid and Community Centre that will dramatically expand capacity and transform how services are delivered. The new building will offer:
"This is a long‑term investment in Sadaqah Jariyah — securing worship, learning and service for generations to come."
Help us break through our physical constraints and build a home for our community that reflects our growth and our future. Your support today builds the foundation for tomorrow's legacy.
