“To God we belong and to Him is our return” [Al Qur’an 2:156]
The Hounslow Muslim Centre would like to express deep sadness and extend heartfelt condolences following the tragic loss of a young life, confirmed earlier today. This follows a serious assault near the Centre on Hanworth Road yesterday.

We are cooperating fully with the Police and helping their investigation to apprehend the perpetrator of this horrific crime. We urge anybody with any information related to this crime to come forward and inform the Police on 101, quoting: Reference 4387/22Jun.
We also appeal to everyone, including media outlets, to refrain from spreading rumours or misinformation, especially online, and for the community to report any Islamophobic incidents to the Police or relevant authorities. Recent far-right attacks underline the real dangers of misinformation. It is important to clarify that this incident is not linked to our Centre in any manner; those involved did not enter our premises.
Violence has no place in our community. The Hounslow Muslim Centre remains committed to working with all partners to help build a safer society for all.
